One of the most exciting and sought after action director/designers in the business, Chris Brewster is taking the world of action cinematography by storm. With two Taurus World Stunt Awards, a SAG award, and many other awards/nominations, Chris is only just beginning.
Known for his work, designing action for Daredevil, Captain America, Ant-Man and the Wasp, Black Panther, and dozens of other epic action projects; Chris does it all. He choreographs both the action sequences, and the camera design to enhance the action. His specialty lies in capturing the action in the most dynamic and exciting way, to most efficiently tell the story.
Chris’s previs (previsualization concept videos), has made him a favorite amongst Marvel and DC films. After spending almost a decade designing action for Marvel, he went on to coordinate Black Adam for DC comics (hitting theaters in October).
Most recently, Chris worked side by side with Chris McKay, as the 2nd unit director of Renfield. “Renfield is a completely reimagined look at the vampire world’, Chris says “We give our favorite blood suckers a Kung-Fu hustle style with a beautiful blend of humor and gore”. With a new wave of projects lined up to direct/2nd unit direct, Chris and his team are ready to leave their mark. “We want to go toe to toe with the best action cinematography teams on the planet”.
